Splish Splash

Finally a weekend where we did not have plans and it was not raining! The weather was lovely Saturday so we headed to the zoo, our first trip of the season. Jonathan's favorites, as they were last year, were the the train and the water park. It was an awesome idea to put a water play area in the zoo, but a little shade would have been nice for us parents--I felt like I was baking!

Jonathan looking quite pleased with himself. I would too if I had a flat stomach like that (insert sigh of longing here)...

The man in action:

Does it make us bad parents that we cracked up every time the water came up and hit him in the face. I sure hope not.

A little water park at the zoo is a great idea - I didn't know they'd done that. Shade for the parents would be grand, though.

I like that zoo! And if it makes you feel better, I laughed just thinking about ya'll laughing when the water hit him. It is totally something we would do.

Okay. I am resolved -- I am going to start enjoying life as much as Jonathan!

No, what makes you bad parents is that you didn't capture it on video and send it in to AFV to pay for his college education! ;)

Hey Jen -- send me an email at sarah_crago@cox.net. Somehow I lost all my email addresses even though I saved them during the transfer. I have stuff to tell you (just plain old everyday stuff...don't go jumping to conclusions).

How fun!!! We have yet to make a trip to the zoo this summer. And watching your own kid get squirted on the face is exactly what we would do too! Hours of entertainment, I tell ya!
