We made the obligatory snowman. Well, sort of.
We also had the obligatory drop-the-chihuahua-in-a-bank-of-drifted-snow-and-point-and-laugh-at-him moment.
We are watching our friends' dog this weekend. His name is Leonard and he is a Scottish Terrier/Schnauzer blend. He was a big fan of the snow, chomping through it like Pac-Man:
Daddy did the shoveling. Much needed but also much less fun that just playing in the snow. Jonathan followed Bryan up the street calling for Daddy to come back.
I'll end with some other favorites since I have not posted for a while. It was a great day for snow since it's Saturday and we did not have to go anywhere. The last picture is a cake that I did for Kara's husband Todd--they are coming over for dinner tonight and his birthday is tomorrow. I am always looking for an excuse to make a cake, particularly now that I have a stand mixer!

We got about double that up here and I am OVER it. Everything is shut down at least until tomorrow. Looks like Jonathan is enjoying it, though!
Wow, that is A LOT of snow! And the boots crack me up! I guess March is coming in like a lion!
Wow, were you on the wrong side of that little cold front or what?! We escaped with just 2 or 3 inches, so I feel very lucky. Nice to see that you and Jonathan (if not Bryan) made the most of it! Nice cake, too!
I love the snow too but by March I am ready for Spring. We got lots of snow as well and were pretty much stuck at home for much of the weekend. It looks like you guys made the best of it though. I love Jonathan's boots. Aubree has a pink kitty pair.

I wish I felt the same way you did this weekend about the snow. I am ready for Spring! John and I were stupid enough to drive out while there was a snow storm watning. Jonathan looks just adorable in his hat, gloves and frog boots -we have the same ones!
By the way, how do you keep those mittens on him? I have the hardest time keeping them on the kids!

I LOVE the boots! So cute. I am glad that at least Jonathan enjoyed the snow. I am ready to be done with snow for at least 8 months!
