We've been blessed with some unseasonably warm weather this month, such that many days only a light jacket has been required to go outdoors. That mild weather appears to have left us as this morning it was a brisk 23 degrees as we were leaving the house. Jonathan was tricked by the sun, however, and announced that he did not need his "big coat". Needless to say, he was none too pleased when I informed him that, not only was his "big coat" required, but he also needed a hat and gloves.
This evening, we decided to poo-poo the cold weather and enjoy Popsicles. Well, at least Bryan and Jonathan did (I had a 100 calorie Nutty Bar. Man, those are delicious!). As compared to last year, when more of the Popsicle ended up on the floor than in his mouth, Jonathan is a pro. And the results are too cute:
Random though--why don't they make a whole box of cherry Popsicles? All three of us like the red ones the best, with grape a distant second and the orange only for the truly desperate. It just seems like something someone would have thought of already!

Believe it or not, I actually like the orange ones. Sometimes, even better than the red. Grape, though, has no reason for existing, in my opinion.
I just love that little face! Hopefully Glenn will also become a pro at them soon... even with the "mini" ones, he ends up with colored hands & face.
100 cal. Nutty Bar?! They don't sell those around here. That was my favorite Little Debbie treat growing up and I don't think I've had one since the early 90's. Yum!
Don't you hate it when the weather tricks you into thinking spring is coming? I need some sunshine!
You should share popcycles with the Burkes. The orange ones are the first to go with the red ones only being eaten in desperation.
Ooops, that last comment was from Amber. :)
